HOLIDAY PARTY 2008
Taken from ROBS Newsletter, Issue Date:January-March 2009, p.7
Our annual holiday party was held at Sweetwaters in hauppauge this year on Friday, December 5th and was great fun.
Over 40 retirees attended and there were some new faces along with the regulars. We missed Letty and Sheila Sustrin, Chris Veech, Lois Morella and Edie Welch, but all are doing well and will be with us on future occasions.
Lynn Tiscione coordinated a raffle with the proceeds going toward very badly needed new video equipment for the History Project. It was a very successful endeavor and a lot of fun. Liz Dicce's wonderful pen and ink note cards were also sold with the proceeds again going to the equipment fund.

Sweetwaters
was a wonderful restaurant. the atmosphere, service and, of course, the food was excellent.
Kudos to our program director, Ruth McCalla, for another memorable gathering.
You can view the photos of the Holiday Party at the Photo Gallery Page of this site.

ANNUAL FLORIDA
LUNCHEON
Dear Colleagues,
You are invited to have lunch with me, Lil Jason, Loretta Ellington and all our friends who care to join us on Thursday, March 12, 2009.
We will eat again at Padrino's (unless you know some other restaurant that will reserve a table for us during season) at 12 noon. This year, we will have a slight change. Everyone will pick up their own checks and can order from the menu or have the buffet, whichever one chooses. Most of you are familiar with the food and location, but I will still need a final count by March 10th to give to the owner. Please call me at 561-488-1267 (H) or 561-716-6068 (C) for further information or email me at MarilynDeplaza@aol.com
